5 The Settings tab
5.1 Student Picker settings
If the Only pick unlabelled students box is checked, then the Student Picker will only select students who have not been assigned a label (that is, students with a white label).
If the Change label color when picking students box is checked, the Student Picker will automatically change the selected student’s label color when picking a random student. For more details, see section 3.3.
If the Only show student’s last initial box is checked, the Student Picker will display students with their last names shortened to only the first letter. For example, John Doe would be shortened to John D.
5.2 Appearance settings
The Appearance tab allows the theme of the Student Picker to be changed. The Default theme is consistent across all platforms, while the System theme depends on what operating system is installed on your computer. This can be used to make the Student Picker’s appearance more consistent with that of other programs.
5.3 Language settings
The Language tab allows the language of the Student Picker’s interface to be changed. You can choose your preferred language from the dropdown or select System to use your computer’s current language. If the Student Picker is not available in the system’s language, American English will be used.
